The Kailash Holiday is the dedicated Mt. Kailash & Mansarovar division of The Everest Holiday — a 3rd-generation Himalayan family operator from Kathmandu.
Our story
Built on three generations of Himalayan service
The Kailash Holiday was created to give pilgrims from Nepal, India and across the world a dedicated, locally-priced yatra to Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar — without middlemen, hidden costs, or generic packages.
We are a division of The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2016 by Shreejan Simkhada, whose family's connection to Himalayan expeditions stretches back three generations. Our team has organised treks, expeditions and pilgrimages for travellers from over 40 countries.
Every yatra we run is led by experienced Kathmandu-based coordinators, supported by Tibetan and Nepali partners on the ground, with proper paperwork, permits and acclimatisation built in. Pilgrims walk with us — never with strangers.

Why a dedicated Kailash brand
The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2016 as a full-service Himalayan tour operator — trekking, mountaineering, cultural tours, and pilgrimage. Over nine years, our Kailash Mansarovar Yatra division grew into our most-requested, most-specialised service.
In 2026 we launched The Kailash Holidayas a dedicated sub-brand — same company, same TAAN 1586 license, same office in Thamel — focused entirely on Mt. Kailash, Lake Mansarovar, Muktinath, and the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage circuits across Nepal and Tibet. Specialisation lets us offer better permit timelines, deeper guide expertise, and pricing transparency that general tour operators can't match.
