Our flagship 11-day Kailash Mansarovar yatra by helicopter via Simikot and Hilsa. Designed for pilgrims short on time who still want to do the full sacred parikrama properly — with two scenic helicopter legs, an acclimatisation day at Purang, full vegetarian board, oxygen support, and an English/Hindi-speaking guide throughout.

    Arrival in Kathmandu

    Airport pickup with welcome drink. Transfer to hotel in Thamel. Evening yatra briefing — paperwork, kit check and altitude precautions.

    Pashupatinath darshan & fly to Nepalgunj

    Morning darshan at Pashupatinath. Fly to Nepalgunj on the Terai plains for an overnight stay before the early Simikot flight.

    Fly Simikot → Helicopter Hilsa → Drive Purang (3,930 m)

    Early flight to Simikot (2,985 m), then a 30-minute scenic helicopter to Hilsa on the Tibetan border. Cross immigration and drive to Purang / Taklakot.

    Acclimatisation day at Purang

    Full rest day to adjust to altitude. Optional short walks around Purang town. Final medical check before continuing into Tibet.

    Drive to Lake Mansarovar (4,590 m)

    Drive past Rakshas Tal to the holy Lake Mansarovar. Evening puja by the shore, holy bath at sunrise the next morning.

    Mansarovar → Darchen (4,675 m)

    Short drive to Darchen, the gateway for the Kailash Kora. Trek prep and gear distribution.

    Parikrama Day 1: Yamdwar → Diraphuk (4,900 m)

    Drive to Yamdwar and begin the Kora. Trek 12 km to Diraphuk with the north face of Kailash directly above. Tea-house overnight.

    Parikrama Day 2: Cross Dolma La (5,636 m) → Zuthulphuk (4,790 m)

    The hardest day. Pre-dawn start to cross Dolma La pass, descend to Zuthulphuk. Yak / pony / porter support available.

    Finish Kora → drive back to Hilsa

    Final 6 km of the Kora to Darchen. Drive back across the plateau to Hilsa near the Nepal border.

    Helicopter Hilsa → Simikot → Nepalgunj → Kathmandu

    Helicopter to Simikot, fly to Nepalgunj, connect to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner in the evening.
