Pathivara Devi is one of Nepal's most powerful Siddha Peeths — said to grant any sincere wish made at her temple at 3,794 m in eastern Nepal. The mountain shrine in Taplejung district draws pilgrims from across Nepal, India, and the Hindu diaspora during Dashain, Bala Chaturdashi, and Maghe Sankranti.     Arrive Kathmandu

    Airport pickup with welcome drink. Hotel check-in in Thamel. Evening yatra briefing — what to expect at Pathivara, kit check for the trek section, weather contingency plan. Overnight Kathmandu.

    Fly KTM → Suketar → drive to Cho-Chola → trek to Pathivara (3,794 m)

    Early morning 50-min flight to Suketar (Taplejung) — scenic views of Kanchenjunga. Drive 1.5 hrs to Phungling, then continue to Cho-Chola trail-head. Trek 3-4 hours up to Pathivara temple — moderately steep mountain trail through rhododendron forests. Darshan and puja arrangement at the sacred Goddess Pathivara temple. Descend to Phungling guesthouse for the night. Pony / porter support available for elders.

    Optional sunrise darshan → fly back to Kathmandu

    Optional pre-dawn return-trek to Pathivara for sunrise darshan (most auspicious — many pilgrims report wishes granted at sunrise). Otherwise, leisurely Phungling exploration. Drive to Suketar airport, fly back to Kathmandu (50 min). Farewell dinner with cultural touches.
