Yes, seasonally. IndiGo operates 3-5 weekly direct flights from Bangalore BLR to Kathmandu, with frequency increasing May–October during yatra peak season. Duration: 3 hr 45 min direct. Off-season (Nov-Apr), direct flights may be limited — most pilgrims connect via Delhi or Kolkata. Round-trip economy: ₹22,000–₹38,000.
How much does Kailash Yatra 2027 cost from Bangalore?
Package prices are on request, and 2027 rates will be quoted once the season is confirmed. The package price is the same regardless of departure city. Add the Bangalore-Kathmandu round-trip flight (₹22,000-38,000) and personal expenses. Kailash yatras are on hold at present.
Can I add Pashupatinath darshan to my Kailash Yatra from Bangalore?
Yes — and we recommend it for South Indian pilgrims. We add 2 days at the start of the yatra for Pashupatinath darshan in Kathmandu (1 day) plus Boudhanath Stupa visit (half day). Additional cost: ₹8,000 per pilgrim covering hotel, transport, and entry fees. Submit at booking time for the combined itinerary.
Do you arrange Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam-speaking guides?
Our standard yatra guides speak English, Hindi, and Nepali. For groups of 10+ South Indian pilgrims booking together, we arrange a Tamil/Telugu/Kannada-speaking assistant guide at an additional ₹15,000 per yatra. Coordinator-level support via WhatsApp is always available in your South Indian language at no extra cost.
Are South-Indian-style pure-veg meals available on yatra?
In Kathmandu and Nepalgunj — yes, we arrange South-Indian-style pure veg (rasam, sambar, curd rice, idli/dosa for breakfast on request) at hotels. On the Tibet portion — meals are pure veg but North-Indian/Nepali style; rice/dal/sabzi is the standard. Carry South-Indian masalas if you want familiar flavours during the parikrama days.
Can I time my morning departures around Sandhya Vandanam on yatra?
Yes. For Brahmin pilgrims observing daily Sandhya Vandanam, we adjust morning departure times by 30-45 minutes when group size permits. Communicate the preference at booking; for groups of 4+ pilgrims with the same observance, we ensure the lead guide knows in advance and the schedule accommodates it.
